'A great cottage for a family getaway. Ten of us sharing (4k & 6a) but it never felt overcrowded. Well appointed, clean, good selection of DVDs, and tv with streaming services. (Not that we had time for TV or sitting by the wood burning fire, as we were enjoying the amazing local beaches or playing games around the table.) 'Fantastic place for a family getaway!! We were a large group with young children, and found the living set up to be absolutely perfect for our needs. The cottage itself is located within easy distance from the A30, giving access to pretty much anywhere in West Cornwall. It's beautifully decorated, and made for a perfect base for our adventures. Check in was easy, and Emma even left us some lovely treats for our arrival! It's a warm and welcoming place and we would absolutely book here again 🙂.' October 2022
'We had a wonderful time. The house is very well equipped and catered for all our needs. Having a small person I was very happy about the stair gates. The space is lovely to hang out and relax on rainy days when you don't feel like heading out r taking a little break. We slept incredibly well, which for me is rare when I am not at home. 'We were a family of 10 and there was plenty of space in this lovely house. It is situated in a lovely countryside area with hill and sea views. Each bedroom was spacious, the kitchen catered to all of our needs and was stocked really well. The living room provided a comfy area with enough seating for all of us. The house is very well situated with short drives to Penzance and St Ives and to nearby beaches. Thank you Emma for a lovely stay and for making the experience so easy!' Aug 2022
'This is a great place for a large group to explore West Cornwall. The house is maintained to a good standard and is large enough for a big group to fit in without feeling cramped. In particular, the upstairs lounge is a great space for playing games and reading in the evenings. Emma’s helpful guide folder was indispensable for finding local walks and attractions. Communication was great and check in was really easy. Highly recommended.' July 2022

'Lovely Airbnb away from the hustle and bustle of the usual touristy places and yet well positioned for short car trips to St Michael’s Mount (8mins), St Ives (15mins), shops (8minutes). The lounge area was a particular favourite of ours, gorgeous and well equipped with a good selection of rainy day activities (DVDs, games) and lovely plants all around the house! There was wood for the fireplace, a BBQ pit, a dishwasher and plenty of cooking equipment all around - everything you need for a larger group getaway!' May 2021

'Thank you Emma! We had a fabulous time! It was everything the pictures and info said it was! Spectacularly clean, very comfortable and brilliantly situated! We were able to visit all our favourite places, especially Marazion, Hayle and Porthcurno beach! Despite the strong winds, we enjoyed your beautiful garden and waking up to the sun shining through the fronds of your tree fern, was a treat for my wife who loves tropical plants! The peace and quiet of ‘Lamu’ has done us all good and it’s also been a very memorable and highly welcomed break, after all the challenges and difficulties of the past year of Covid restrictions. 'Emma’s place was the cleanest stay we ever experienced, she is a brilliant communicator all round and was very helpful. The two fireplaces are brilliant because you can have the fire burning away during dinner time and breakfast time in the kitchen, and then in the lounge in the evening when relaxing with a glass of wine. We comprehensively enjoyed our week here and couldn’t recommend it enough. We hope to return in the summer. Thank you Emma.' December 2020
