Cornish Retreats offers two beautiful self-catering holiday cottages in the heart of the South West of Cornwall, The Countryside Retreat and the Ocean View Penthouse. The Penthouse (sleeps 4) is located right on the seafront of Penzance, with stunning ocean views looking over to St Michael's Mount and beyond. The Countryside retreat (sleeps 10) is located in a quiet village between Penzance and St Ives, boasting countryside views in one direction, and sea views in the other -  perfect for large groups and extended families!

Both properties are ideally located for surf beaches, coastal walks, and days out in St.Ives, Marazion, and Penzance. Major local attractions such as St Michael's Mount, The Minack Theatre and Lands End are just a short drive away, which makes both properties the perfect holiday base from which to explore South West Cornwall.

The Countryside Retreat

The Countryside Retreat is in the tranquil village of Ludgvan. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the country and the sounds of birds in the garden, with views of St Michael's Mount from the living room and valley views from the bedrooms. Ludgvan village has two friendly pubs (one is one of the oldest pubs in Cornwall!) and is surrounded by footpaths, including the famous St Michaels Way trail. This rural and beautiful house is only a 5-minute drive to the South coast and just 15 minutes to the North coast.

Ocean View Penthouse 

Wake up to stunning sea views stretching across the bay to St Michael's Mount. This spacious apartment is set in the perfect location in Penzance, with the town centre to your right and the beach to your left. Take a short walk to the many great local pubs and harbourside cafes, or take a stroll along the beach or cycle path to St Michael's Mount. The train station is just minutes away, from where you can take a spectacular train ride to St Ives.
